Last but not least!
Enjoy some photographs taken on Sunday the 1st of July, 2012 from the VIP steam boat Côte-d’Azur.
After a two-week break in Lorient, the fleet is on the way to Galway for Leg 9.
Despite of a tough start Camper managed to win Leg 9. Groupama sailing team arrived second in Galway which means… no matter how they will sail the last In-port Race in Ireland… they won the Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012! Congratulations to the French Franck Cammas and his teammates!

On Leg 8 of the Volvo Ocean Race, from Lisbon (Portugal) to Lorient (France) Groupama Sailing Team arrived first and earlier than expected!
The dedicated Race Village of Lorient is not ready yet but will open tomorrow.
The Volvo Ocean Race is the world’s longest and toughest ocean race!
The 2011-2012 edition started at Alicante (Spain) the 5th of November 2011.
Abbaye Notre-Dame d’Orval

Founded as a Cistercian monastery, the abbey is well-known for its history and current spiritual life. Trappist Cistercian monks still welcome guests for short retreats.
The Abbaye Notre Dame d’Orval attracts also many tourists probably thanks to ist local production of Trappist Beer and typical cheese!

Le jour la prise de vue, la statue de Lyon XIV portait un sac rose en bandoulière. Par cette action de street marketing, la ville de Lyon présente un label pour développer la consommation responsable.
