How can a photographer create without creations of others?

The artist, Hema Upadhyay, recreated the Dharavi Slum of Bombay on two sides of a narrow corridor. This photograph plays with the lights and shows a detail the elaborated work.

It is completely out of the tourist routes but Taiping has a lot of history in its buildings. It used to be one of the most important English settlement with the first asian zoo, the first golf course and some of the eldest churches of Malaysia!

Whenever you have time, please try to spend a week end in Rheims in the summer 2011, you will not regret it!
